A diverse product line for all needs.

The success of a project often depends on the people you're dealing with. At Garex, our commitment to our partners is constantly driving us to improve service quality, guarantee manufacturing and delivery lead times, and deliver a product at the lowest overall cost.
Garex commercial doors are composed of:
•  Steel or aluminum siding coated with baked polyester paint for maximum durability and minimum maintenance. The steel is also protected by Z-180 galvanization.
•  Pressure-injected polyurethane insulation that forms with the exterior and interior siding a light, sturdy composite panel.
•  Gauge-14 steel anchor plates inserted onto the door where the hardware components are to be attached, for maximum rigidity.
•  End pieces in dried pine that can be covered with PVC moulding or steel.
•  Horizontally airtight PVC and vinyl seams for perfect airtightness and a thermal barrier between the exterior and interior siding.

Aluminum siding

Portes Garex uses 23-gauge aluminum siding in a wide range of colours. This siding meets or exceeds the standards described below. The surface of the aluminum finish simulates a wood grain texture.

Steel siding

Portes Garex uses 26-gauge steel siding, painted with very high resistance white or clay polyester paint. The steel meets the A.S.T.M. A653 standard with a minimum galvanization of 180 grams per square metre (G-60). The surface of the steel finish simulates a wood grain texture.

Portes Garex makes its doors with a pressure-moulding method. The door's interior is composed of high pressure-injected polyurethane two sheets of aluminum or steel. The doors are 45 mm (1 1/2’’) thick and have no thermal bridge.

The door panels are designed to take a wind pressure of 0.96 kPa (20 lbs/ft²) for a maximum horizontal deflection equal to 1/240th of the door's width.
Garex glazed commercial doors:
Portes Garex also offers a line of full view doors. The panels, made of 1 5/8" thick clear or prepainted white anodized aluminum, can form an entire door or be incorporated into a set of Garex standard insulated panels. They may be mounted with clear thermos windows and/or with shockproof panels or with single anodized aluminum sheeting. The bottom panel may be fitted with an exhaust port.
